Classic and Photochromic describe the tint. Magnetic and Clip-on describe how the lens attaches. A model combines a tint type with a fitting type.
The view stays the same tint. Choose its VLT for your usual light; swap to a compatible lens if the weather changes.
Darker in stronger light and lighter as light falls, within the listed VLT range. Adaptation is gradual; temperature and UV exposure affect it.
Magnets align and hold a compatible lens. Release any locks, change the lens and check it is seated evenly. Follow the model manual.
Clips secure the lens to the frame. Release and re-seat them as the manual shows. Replacement lenses must match the exact model.
Light first: 13–18% VLT is dark for sun and glare. 18–20% is still quite dark; for snowfall and very flat light, choose higher VLT. Use the VLT guide on each product page.
Colour second: outside mirror colour is a finish, not a reliable guide to the inside tint or transparency. Mirrored does not automatically mean polarised. UV400 protection is separate from darkness.
Shape and fit: spherical lenses curve in two directions; cylindrical lenses curve horizontally and stay flatter vertically. Both give a broad view; choose a comfortable fit with your helmet.
Compare price by features: photochromic tint, fitting, frame design and accessories differ by model. Higher price does not mean stronger UV400 protection. Read the buying FAQ →
